A complete LLM conversation trace loaded from a JSON fixture.

Unknown keys are rejected. A required, 100%-pass regression gate must not be able to certify a fixture whose expectation was silently dropped because its key was misspelled.

Fields

model_name: String

Identifier for the trace (surfaced in reports).

turns: Vec<TraceTurn>

Conversation turns, replayed in order.

Must be non-empty. LlmTrace::from_file rejects a zero-turn fixture, which would grade its expectations against a run that never happened.

expects: TraceExpects

Declarative expectations graded against the run.
