Enum PairingCodeCharset
pub enum PairingCodeCharset {
Numeric,
Alphanumeric,
Unambiguous,
}Expand description
Character family a pairing code is drawn from.
Variants§
Numeric
0-9. Compatibility mode for demos and retyping-heavy flows.
Paired with length = 6 this reproduces the previously shipped code exactly.
Alphanumeric
0-9A-Za-z, case-sensitive (62 symbols). The default: densest
entropy per character for a code that is copied and pasted.
Unambiguous
Crockford Base32 (32 symbols): no I, L, O, or U. Slightly
longer for the same entropy, but safe to read aloud or retype.
Implementations§
Source§impl PairingCodeCharset
impl PairingCodeCharset
Sourcepub fn bits_per_char(self) -> f64
pub fn bits_per_char(self) -> f64
Entropy contributed by a single character of this family.
Sourcepub fn config_name(self) -> &'static str
pub fn config_name(self) -> &'static str
The name this family is written as in config.toml.
Must stay in step with the serde(rename_all = "snake_case") above;
charset_config_names_match_serde pins that.

Source§fn display_secret_terminals() -> Vec<&'static str>
fn display_secret_terminals() -> Vec<&'static str>
Terminal field names whose values must be redacted when this type is
displayed as an object/object-array prop. Most prop kinds have no
nested secret surface; Configurable object-array element types can
override this by delegating to their generated
