Variants

RevisionExhausted

The epoch’s sequence space is exhausted, so no further publication identity is representable. Surfaced before irreversible persistence, never after a save.

NotSuccessor

A publication attempted to install a revision that is not the exact successor of the currently published one (for example a stale or repeated allocation). The published pair is unchanged.
