Struct ChannelRoomContext
pub struct ChannelRoomContext {
pub purpose: Option<String>,
}Expand description
Context a chat channel supplies about one specific room.
Rooms in the same channel can serve different purposes — one for package maintenance, another for incident response — and the operator already describes that in the chat product’s own metadata (Mattermost’s channel purpose, Slack’s topic, Matrix’s room topic). This carries that description to prompt assembly so a room can specialise the agent without a separate config entry per room.
Channel-supplied, not operator-supplied. The text originates from
whoever can edit the room’s metadata, which on default permission schemes is
usually every member — a wider set than whoever controls the agent’s config.
It is therefore rendered as context about the room, explicitly labelled as
such, and never as operating rules. Adapters must return None unless the
operator opted the alias in.
