Struct GatewayInboundAuth
pub struct GatewayInboundAuth { /* private fields */ }Expand description
The gateway’s inbound-auth authority: the provider registry and principal resolver the RPC layer uses.
Under the daemon it is the RPC context’s own authority
(Self::from_shared): one accepted policy per daemon generation, into
which both surfaces publish under the process-wide config write lock. A
revocation persisted through the gateway or through RPC therefore binds
the other surface before the writer returns. A standalone gateway builds
its own from config (Self::from_config).
The accepted policy (providers, their verification settings, profile
mappings, grants) is compiled at construction and thereafter only by a
persist boundary publishing the configuration it has just written: the
gateway’s publish_persisted, or the RPC context’s save.
Implementations§
Source§impl GatewayInboundAuth
impl GatewayInboundAuth
Sourcepub fn from_config(
config: &Config,
pairing: Arc<PairingGuard>,
) -> Result<GatewayInboundAuth, Error>
pub fn from_config( config: &Config, pairing: Arc<PairingGuard>, ) -> Result<GatewayInboundAuth, Error>
A standalone gateway’s own authority, compiled from config.
The daemon generation’s authority, shared with the RPC context. The gateway then authenticates against, and publishes into, the same accepted policy RPC does.
Sourcepub fn generation(&self) -> u64
pub fn generation(&self) -> u64
The authorization-policy generation currently in force.
