Use the authority acquired before constructing producers such as SOP maintenance.

On DaemonExit::Reload the process-ownership guard is drained with ownership retained and returned to the caller, so the next daemon generation can adopt it without an unlocked read/reacquire interval. On shutdown or error the guard is released here.
