The active log path paired with whether the installed storage policy owns timestamped archives. None when persistence is disabled at the writer layer, matching active_log_path.

Query entry points need both halves: the path says where to read, and the flag says whether archives next to it are part of this policy’s logical stream. Reading the flag from the same writer state that produced the path keeps the two consistent; deriving it from a separate config snapshot could disagree with the writer actually running.
