OrphanedRunSettlement

Enum OrphanedRunSettlement

pub enum OrphanedRunSettlement {
    DrainedBeforeAdmission,
    DriverAborted,
    ExecutionRejected,
}
Expand description

Why a run is waiting on a terminal write that no driver will ever make.

These are runs the engine still holds as active, with an execution claim, but that nothing is left to advance. Each settles through the normal claim-releasing terminal path; the kind only decides the terminal status and the durable event that explains it.

Variants§

§

DrainedBeforeAdmission

The generation that started the run drained before a driver was admitted for it. Settled Cancelled: the work was withdrawn, not tried.

§

DriverAborted

A reload aborted the run’s driver mid-drive. Settled Failed: the step was underway and did not finish.

§

ExecutionRejected

Execution authority rejected the next step before its target ran. Settled Cancelled: the driver stopped without executing that step.
